The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

At Kezco Atelier we love it when our customers get involved with a good cause - and even more so when they tailor make their suit especially for the occasion.

The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride this year was inspired by a photo of Mad Men's Don Draper on a classic bike wearing his finest suit - it was decided a themed ride would be a great way to bring together the classic and vintage style motorcycle community. In Melbourne the ride took place at the Royal Exhibition building in Carlton.

In keeping with the classic lines of Don Draper’s 1957 Matchless G3LS, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is a niche charity event held upon the last Sunday in September each year with gentlefolk riding their various classic motorcycles to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health programs.

The below fabrics are what our customer was making his selections from.

The customer finally choose the below wool and silk mix fabric by Dormeuil, which was especially good for the colder late September weather.

Our customer, Dalin Wang is pictured in the following 8 photos at the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride on 24th September 2017, looking very dapper in his specially designed bespoke Kezco Atelier signature blazer. Melbourne had a total of 989 registered riders and raised over $120,000. However this year of all the 33 locations registered in Australia, Sydney raised the most money with its 750 registered riders raising $335,925 for the cause. Well done Sydney!

Thank you to Dalin Wang for providing us his photos from the day.
